Yash Romances Tara and Kiara in ‘Manmohaka’ Fans Say ‘Tabaahi’ Was Better
The second song from Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been released. Titled “Manmohaka” in Kannada and “Madhosh” in Hindi, the romantic track features Yash alongside Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara.
The 3-minute-14-second video focuses on the romance between Yash’s character Raya and Tara Sutaria’s Rebecca.
The two are shown sharing intimate moments and going on dates, with Rebecca hoping that Raya will propose to her. However, the mood changes when the video hints that Raya also has feelings for Kiara Advani’s character, Nadia. (Hindustan Times)
The promotional campaign has suggested that Raya may have relationships with more than one woman.
The video also features Nayanthara as Ganga, who is rumoured to play Raya’s sister. While the song does not reveal the complete storyline, it points towards emotional conflict between Raya, Rebecca and Nadia. (Hindustan Times)
Social-media reactions to “Manmohaka” have been mixed.
Several viewers said they preferred the previously released song “Tabaahi,” while others praised the new romantic number. Some fans also questioned whether Toxic would focus more on romance than the action-heavy tone suggested by its title. (Hindustan Times)
“Manmohaka” was composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, with vocals by Siddharth Basrur.
The song has been released as:
