The feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk has taken a wild international twist! 🇷🇺 Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev jokingly offered to mediate peace between the two, even suggesting payment in Starlink shares. Elon Musk responded with a laughing emoji, keeping the internet buzzing. Meanwhile, Musk deleted controversial tweets hinting at a possible reconciliation, but Trump isn't budging. This drama isn't just about egos—it's a reflection of deeper political and economic tensions.
The drama kicked off when Elon Musk slammed Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" as a "disgusting abomination," warning it could bankrupt America. Trump fired back, expressing disappointment and threatening to cut Musk's government subsidies and contracts. The feud escalated rapidly, with Musk even sharing unverified claims linking Trump to the Epstein files.
In a surprising twist, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev offered to mediate between Trump and Musk, humorously suggesting payment in Starlink shares. Elon Musk responded with a laughing emoji, keeping the tone light. Russian lawmaker Dmitry Novikov even offered Musk political asylum, though he acknowledged Musk likely wouldn't need it.
Amid the chaos, Musk deleted several controversial tweets, including those referencing the Epstein files. He also responded positively to investor Bill Ackman's suggestion to make peace, saying, "You're not wrong." These actions hint at Musk's desire to de-escalate tensions, but Trump remains unmoved, even considering selling his red Tesla purchased earlier this year.
This high-profile spat isn't just celebrity gossip—it's a window into the contradictions of capitalism. Billionaires like Trump and Musk, despite their wealth, are entangled in power struggles that distract from the real issues facing the working class. The media frenzy serves to divert attention from systemic inequalities and the need for a more equitable society.
