Superman opened with approximately ₹6.9–7 crore net across all languages in India. 💥 This is the highest Day 1 for a DC Studios film in India, beating previous records by #BlackAdam, #TheFlash, and #Aquaman.
It outpaced Bollywood's #Maalik and #AankhonKiGustaakhiyan, which together could only make about ₹3.5 crore. 📉It also topped Brad Pitt’s #F1, which earned ₹5.5 crore on Day 1. 🏎️But it couldn’t beat #JurassicWorldRebirth (₹9 crore) or Tom Cruise’s #MissionImpossible (₹16.5 crore). 🦖🔥
In the U.S., Superman pulled in a whopping $22.5 million in Thursday previews, making it the biggest preview day of 2025 so far. 💸Estimates say the domestic opening weekend could touch $115–130 million, or even $150 million. That’s like a rocket launch for the new #DCU reboot! 🚀
Superman’s Day 1 haul in India shows strong #opening, beating #Bollywood and #F1 but not dethroning #Jurassic. Globally, its #ThursdayPreviews smashed records, with #JamesGunn’s reboot fueling #cinema excitement and potential #DCU resurgence.
