Ranbir Kapoor's Humble Beginnings: Smita Jaykar Shares Memory of Actor Sitting on Floor
Ranbir Kapoor, now a star in Bollywood, had humble beginnings that Smita Jaykar recently recalled. During his early days as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he visited her home and sat on the floor while enjoying the prawn curry she prepared. Jaykar shared this anecdote in a chat on Siddharth Kanna's YouTube channel, revealing that she didn't know he was Ranbir Kapoor at the time. She added that he was accompanying Bhansali on a project and that she had forgotten about the incident until he reminded her on the set of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. The memory highlights his humility and the respect he earned even in his early career.
