🧑🦳🔥 Nag to Lokesh: Did Rajini Really Say Yes to Coolie?
TL;DR: Nagarjuna's cheeky but sharp question to director Lokesh Kanagaraj—"Rajinikanth Coolie lo untaaraa?"—left fans buzzing 😯🔥Now the suspense is back: Is the Superstar officially in for this gangster flick?
Nag Drops a Bomb
In a video that's going viral today (5 Aug 2025), Nagarjuna casually but curiously asked Lokesh Kanagaraj:"Did Rajinikanth really agree to do Coolie?" 👀This happened at an informal chat event when Nag, Lokesh, and Suriya were seated together. Nag’s tone was playful—but fans took it as a legit query.
Lokesh didn't directly answer. He just smiled and nodded vaguely . That silence? Louder than words.
Flashback: What’s Coolie? 🎬
Coolie is Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next mega project after Leo and Vikram, reportedly a solo-action thriller starring Rajinikanth The teaser dropped weeks ago, with Rajini in full vintage Basha-style swag The "A" certificate news and rumours of a gangster-style face-off have kept fans hyped. But nowhere has there been an official statement from Rajini himself.
So… is the Superstar truly signed? Or is the team cashing in on fan speculation?
Why It Matters for Fans ❤️
🎯 #Rajinikanth fans want clarity—Coolie marks his 171st film, and they're calling it a “mass comeback” role.🎯 Lokesh’s track record—he revived Kamal Haasan’s box office with Vikram and gave Vijay his grittiest avatar in Leo. Nagarjuna asking that question means the buzz isn’t just among fans—even stars want to know what’s up.
People’s POV: Why Should We Care?
📸 The public loves Rajini for his style + simplicity. But in recent years, his films have been hit-or-miss at the box office. A Lokesh-Rajini team-up could bring serious business back to theatres—and with youth-friendly stories, even Gen Z might show up. And for Telugu fans? If the Coolie-LCU leaks are true, we might see crossovers with Suriya (Rolex) or Kamal (Vikram) in Telugu dubs too!
MediaFx Take 🎤
We think Nag voiced what millions were wondering: Is this movie really happening, or is it just teaser bait?Lokesh has mastered the art of building cinematic universes, but fans deserve transparency too.If Rajini’s in, drop the official poster already! If not, don't tease us with star dust.Either way, this one’s shaping up to be THE action flick to watch out for in 2026.
