A scandal involving sex videos of a young MP from Karnataka has caused a major uproar amidst the Lok Sabha elections. With the first phase of polling ending on April 26, the emergence of these videos just days before has stirred significant controversy. These videos and photos went viral on social media, leading to allegations of sexual misconduct against the MP. The Karnataka State Women’s Commission Chairperson, Nagalakshmi Chaudhary, reported that complaints had been filed against the young MP for allegedly assaulting women and filming the incidents to satisfy his physical needs at will. This has sparked intense outrage, prompting the Women's Commission to call for a thorough investigation into these serious allegations. In response, the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to delve deeper into the case. The situation is further complicated by the opposition's accusations, notably targeting former CM HD Kumaraswamy, alleging the sale of such explicit materials stored on pen drives. This scandal has undoubtedly shaken the political landscape of Karnataka.
