🎬 Kanguva’s Sound Drama: Producer Takes Action, Drops Sequel Hints 🔊🔥
TL;DR: After criticism of Kanguva's loud sound design, producer KE Gnanavel Raja has asked theaters to reduce the volume by 2 points. He assures fans the issue will be fixed by the next show. Meanwhile, the buzz for Kanguva 2 builds as Siva plans the sequel after completing another project. 💥
Kanguva, the epic historical action film starring Suriya, Disha Patani, and Bobby Deol, has been in the spotlight since its release on November 14—but not all for the right reasons. 🗡️ Set a thousand years ago, its action-packed sequences were criticized for being too loud, with audiences feeling overwhelmed. 🙉
Producer KE Gnanavel Raja wasted no time in addressing these concerns. Speaking to the media, he said:
He clarified that the soundtracks, composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), were not the problem. The only feedback was about the volume, and corrective steps have already been taken. ✅
While some fans questioned the music, Raja defended DSP, stating:
The adjustments were made swiftly, ensuring a smoother experience for fans attending night shows. 🌙
Here’s the exciting part: Kanguva 2 is officially on the horizon! 🌟 The first film ended with a bang, introducing Karthi’s character and teasing an epic face-off between Suriya and Karthi in the sequel. 🥊
However, fans will need to wait a bit:
Director Siva is committed to another project with Ajith Kumar first.
The script for Kanguva 2 is ready, but tweaks will be made based on the feedback received from Kanguva. 🖋️💡
The producer promised that the sequel would build on the success of the first and deliver even bigger thrills. 🚀
Despite the sound hiccup, Kanguva is off to a roaring start at the box office, grossing ₹58.60 crore worldwide on its opening day. The team is optimistic about smashing records and making this Suriya’s highest-grossing film by Monday. 💸🌍
Kanguva explores two timelines:
Suriya as a tribal warrior defending his people from colonization.
Suriya again as Francis, a present-day bounty hunter.
With breathtaking action, stunning visuals, and a gripping plot, it’s a treat for fans of epic dramas. 🛡️✨
