#APVotersReturn: Andhra Residents Head Back to Patna After Voting
After exercising their right to vote in the recent elections, residents from various parts of Andhra Pradesh are now returning to Patna. The day saw heavy traffic as people used every available mode of transportation, including cars, buses, and trucks, to get back to Hyderabad. Notably, the traffic on roads leading to Hyderabad surged in the evening, especially near the NTR district's Chillakallu toll gate, where the vehicle count by 6:30 PM reached over 35,000, far exceeding the usual daily average. Officials noted that this movement mirrored the mass migrations usually seen during the Sankranti festival, with an estimated 600,000 people having traveled back to Andhra Pradesh to vote, indicating a high level of participation in the democratic process.
