Privacy at NewsFx
Updated 25 October 2026. NewsFx is published by EastFx Media Communication India Private Limited through MediaFx.
Your feed and this device
No reader account is required. Reading interests, saved stories, appearance and installation choices are stored in your browser. Feed preferences let you reset your interests and disable aggregate usage counts. Clearing browser site data removes local preferences and saved stories. Browser storage and cached public pages also support the installed app.
Usage and corrections
NewsFx collects aggregate action counts to improve the reader. These counts do not include a persistent reader identifier, a personal reading profile or full referring URL. Hosting and security providers may process technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Correction text and supporting links you submit are sent to our editorial system and logged with actions taken. Do not include passwords, identity documents or other sensitive information in a correction.
External content
Source links open other publishers. Embedded YouTube videos and browser speech services may connect to their providers when used. Their privacy practices apply to those services.
Optional notifications
Notifications require an explicit opt-in and browser permission on each device. NewsFx stores the device push endpoint, encryption keys, timezone and chosen topics to deliver alerts. Notification delivery uses browser push services. No email address or reading profile is required. The limit is three per local day and rolling 24 hours, with at least four hours between sends and quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Use Feed preferences → Notifications to pause, change topics, or turn off and delete the subscription. Unrefreshed device subscriptions expire from active delivery after 30 days.
Advertising
Google AdSense site review is pending and NewsFx advertising is currently disabled. Before ads are enabled, applicable consent controls will be available. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalise ads. Choosing not to consent must not prevent reading the stories. Read how Google uses information from sites using its services and manage Google ad preferences.
Your choices and contact
Use the settings icon in the feed for local interests, listening and aggregate measurement controls. Use the flag inside a story to report a correction. For privacy enquiries, contact online@eastfx.tv; do not send sensitive documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
